Sky high gas

Gas prices in Floyd County have climbed as high as 2.87 a gallon by 2:15 this afternoon. That was the price for regular unleaded at several Cowboy stations around town. Meanwhile, people fearing a shortage have been flooding the pumps today, causing a spike in daily sales. Some distributors are afraid that while reserves are available public panic might create a real shortage.
Meanwhile, some stations are currently out of gas. The BP station on Shorter Avenue across from the Marine Corps Reserve Armory is out of gas. Evans Store on the Alabama Highway is out of diesel and expects to be out of gas by the end of the day.
The following is a sample prices in the area for regular unleaded gas:

What the hell is going on people? there is no gas shortage yet and besides the gas that is in the tanks at these stations, is already bought and paid for at the lower price and all your doing is making the fat man richer. DON"T BUY UNLESS YOU REALLY NEED TO!!! don't fall for the scare of the moneyman. People use your common sence.
people in georgia, we get most of our gas delivered from the coast or trucked in. there is no shortage. oil purchased on the futures market usually takes more than 3 months to arrive to the refinnery. so what we are buying today was purchased around may. they are ripping us off! turn them in to the goverment and let them pay for ripping us!!
report them then deport them!!!!!!
